Sean Kingston Publishing Services can assist in all parts of the publication process, from development of the initial idea to facilitating each stage of the production until the product reaches the end-consumer. Understanding and catering for the needs of both clients and suppliers requires flexibility and good communication skills. If you do not see your requirements mentioned here, or if you are not yet sure what your requirements are, why not get in contact for an informal discussion?
- Selecting and Developing Authors: We have many years experience in locating, reviewing and developing authors to publication, particularly within the academic sphere.
- Supplying and Managing Freelancers: We have excellent contacts with freelance editors, typesetters, indexers and designers; who are carefully briefed and managed with regard to the requirements of your project.
- Buying Digital and Litho Print: Developing the right format for your product is a specialised job. We know the advantages and disadvantages of digital and litho printing, and can guide you on such matters as paper and binding. The specifications required are carefully assessed for each client, and the correct printers are asked to quote for the job.
- Marketing, Sales and Distribution: It is no use having a product if you cannot get it to your customer. Being publishers ourselves we are well aware that distribution is one of the most difficult problems within publishing. But we have researched many of the alternatives (and visited the warehouses) and have experience of negotiating distribution deals.
